Al-Madinah Scholarship program (2017-2018)

Al-Madinah Center is our community center at the heart of downtown Montreal (QC, Canada) offering social and educational services tailored to serve children, youth, families and elders. We aspire to establish an institution that provides leadership, charisma, and power to promote the true role of the Canadian Muslim.

With this vision, we strive to serve as a corner stone in promoting all activities that reflect the Islamic identity, values, and intellectual wealth of the Islamic society. We aim to offer holistic approach to educate, to pray, to play, to socialize, to integrate and to unite our Muslim community.

Scholarship Program 2017

Al-Madinah Center is offering several scholarships pursuing a graduate degree in one of Montreal universities. If the major of study contributes to the well being of the Muslim community, it would be a definite asset. Scholarships offered by Al-Madinah Center are primarily available for Montreal-based Muslim students. We are very aware of the need for these scholarships which not only help students financially, but recognize their potential to be responsible citizens and community leaders in the fabric of the Canadian / Quebec society at large. We are most grateful to all those who have made it possible for us to help Muslim students to further their education.

Al-Madinah Center is committed to offering as much aid as students’ need and to encourage Muslim students to apply every year, even if they have won before. In this way, you can be helped all the way through your education. The money granted MUST be used at any university level across the province of Quebec.

Scholarship sponsors: Note: these grants will not be offered from the donations pool. We have a special fund to cover them. Please communicate with us (grants@almadinah-center.org) if you like to contribute to the permanent scholarship fund that will cover all these grants now or in the future.
