Description of Al-Madinah Quran Academy:<\/h2>\n

Al-Madinah Quran Academy has been established, under Al-Madinah Center, to serve the ever-growing Muslim Community in Montreal. The ultimate goal of this academy is to signify the relationship between the Muslim community in Montreal and the Holy Qur\u2019an in terms of both educational and moral values. The Academy will gladly serve any person interested in learning the Holy Qur\u2019an, regardless of gender, age, or languages spoken.<\/p>\n

Goals:<\/h2>\n

Since its blessed launch on November 3rd, 2018, Al-Madinah Quran Academy (Al-Furqan) has been dedicated to achieving specific goals, the most important of which are as follows:
\n1- To revive the Holy Qur\u2019an in the members of Al-Madinah Center in particular, and in those desiring to learn Qur\u2019an in Montreal more generally.
\n2- To connect the students of the Academy with the Qur\u2019an morally and behaviorally so that its teachings may be reflected in their daily lives.
\n3- To server as the core for an institution aimed at teaching the Qur\u2019an and its related sciences.<\/p>\n

Vision:<\/h2>\n

Al-Madinah Quran Academy (Al-Furqan) aims to be a pioneer in delivering and spreading the teachings of the Qur\u2019an that are consistent with moderate Islamic values in Canada.<\/p>\n

Affiliation:<\/h2>\n

Al-Madinah Quran Academy (Al-Furqan) is a subsidiary of Al-Madinah Center. It is a non-profit organization and its services are offered free of charge. Its budget is administered within that of Al-Madinah Center.<\/p>\n

Main Activities:<\/h2>\n

Since its establishment, over 200 students of all ages have enrolled in Al-Madinah Quran Academy (Al-Furqan)
\nThe Academy\u2019s main activities throughout the year can be summarized in terms of following programs:
\n1- Quran Memorization program designed to memorize the Holy Qur\u2019an within two years.
\n2- Tajweed courses for both beginners and advanced students, in both Arabic and English.
\n3- Arabic courses for non-Arabic speakers in order to effectively teach them the Holy Qur\u2019an.
\nThese programs are supervised by a group of qualified and capable brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n

Organizational Structure:<\/h2>\n

Al-Madinah Quran Academy (Al-Furqan) is managed by an Executive Committee and its subcommittees charged with supervising the activities and programs offered by the academy.<\/p>\n

Values:<\/h2>\n

Al-Madinah Quran Academy is committed to upholding the Islamic values and principles upon which Al-Madinah Center was established. As such, its employees will behave with utmost integrity and respect towards the people they serve, as well as towards other Islamic organizations and the Montreal community in general. Its employees also aim to be role models for Muslims in Montreal in terms of their charitable and volunteer work.
\nAl-Madinah Quran Academy is committed to excellence in its administration in terms of diligence and transparency. Its members will be working together as one team to continually improve the quality of the services offered at Al-Madinah Quran Academy.<\/p>\n
