The meaning of Fidya<\/i> <\/strong>is an expiation or compensation donation, paid by individuals who cannot fulfill the obligation of fasting due to illness or old age. Fidya can be calculated as $15 for each day missed or $450 for 30 days of Ramadan per person. One can pay it all in one shot or can be paid daily for the missed days.<\/b><\/p>\n
