Coding For Kids Workshop

With the help of Allah, we would love to help the little loved ones to learn an important life skill i.e. CODING. We believe that learning how to code early on will give them a new perspective and teach them to discipline themselves and focus on goals. In addition, programming does not only help them advance their careers, but it will also help our cubs embark interesting careers, and contribute to the success of our local communities and Muslim society. Hence, they will help advance the message of Islam: the religion of success.

Programming helps our little ones acquire problem solving skills, critical thinking and efficient habits in school in Sha2 Allah.

Why should your kid learn Coding?

Coding is a technology to help us solve real world problems.
Coding is not the goal, it is an enabler – it prepares us to become entrepreneurs and innovators who connect people in new ways using new platforms.
Coding allows us to build games, develop websites and phone applications, control our home appliances, interac with robots, and get highly paid jobs in the future.

Course content is based on Creative Computing Curriculum

DETAILS:

Workshop will contain 6-9 sessions of 1 hour each.
For all workshops, 2 devices will be required – 2 phones / 1 iPad & 1 phone / 1 PC &1 phone
Class timings – Wednesday 7: 00 P.M to 8:30 P.M & Fridays 4:00 – 5:30PM

I agree to the privacy policy.

1. The registration is free but the acceptance is on first come first served basis. A donation to the center is welcome to support the general activities.

2. There will be no tuition for the basic workshops. Advanced workshops might be paid.

3. Students are responsible for their own devices and software application. The center is not responsible in any situation for any risk involved with the installation of the applications.

4. Parents should arrange for their children quiet environment in order to facilitate the learning experience.

5. Harassment SHALL NOT be accepted or tolerated.

6. Parents have the right to communicate with the teacher directly to inquire about the students situation or they can consult with the administration if they prefer. If parents wish to communicate with the teachers, it can be either by email or by appointment. Teachers shall have the right to refuse meeting parents during class time.

7. The administration shall have the right to reject or void the registration of students if they do not cooperate in a consistent manner.

8. Parents can consult with the administration in case of student's termination. Yet, the administration decision will be final and binding. The director or the teacher shall have the final decision on student's termination.

9. The administration shall retain the right to terminate students who are always late. PLEASE do respect the time of the class. The administration shall retain the right to terminate students who do not obey the school code of conduct.

10. The students are required to participate in the activities indoor and outdoor because we adopt an active learning approach in which students must observe their day to day environment to be able to describe it or interact with it.

12. The school might take photos or recording of classes during certain activities.

13. We have limited seats in all sessions. Seats are filled on first come first served basis. We do not have a waiting list.
