Orphan Project


The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5659)

Vision :

Al-Madinah center will provide support to vulnerable orphan children by safeguarding them from poverty, abandonment, and other harmful surrounding up until at least the age of 18.

Mission :

Our vision is to change orphans’ future, by alleviating their sufferings and build their character to be the Muslim leaders of tomorrow.

How we work :

  • Contact us for specific request or inquiry.
  • Get a customized answer from our volunteer
  • Get a 6 month progress report (since AlMadinah center start the sponsorship with the orphan)
  • Send a specific message to your orphan, talk with the orphan that you sponsor (might vary from one country to another)

About us :

Orphan’s sponsorship is one of the newest projects of Al-Madinah center. It is initiated and organized on voluntarily basis to gain God’s blessing. Our core values are:

  1. To be transparent in all our affairs and transactions firstly with Allah, our donors and partners
  2. To be strong morally and deal in an honest and compassionate manner
  3. To help orphans irrespective of their gender, nationality or race
  4. To help orphans in special moments of conflict and emergencies
How we will process the evaluation?
  • Progress report every three months. That includes the child:
    • Progress in school,
    • Health and well-being
    • General update
  • Online form where the field partner  could update us and include any attachments
  • Field partners should contact us in emergency situations (health issues or new fees needed and any kind of expenses) so we can advice the donor
Donation program
Model A : Sponsorship program.
  • The sponsor can choose the period that he/she would like to keep the sponsorship for.
  • If he/she would like to stop sponsoring, there should be a notice stating the reasons.
Model B: General donation.
  • No specific period is required.
  • People would love to donate generally for the purpose of orphan’s sponsorship.
